Successful Dedication Into The Catholic Women Association – 3rd Edition And Counting
Sunday, 16 August 2026, marked a significant milestone for the Cameroonian Catholic community in Mülheim as the Catholic Women Association (CWA) Queen of Peace Branch celebrated its third edition of the dedication of new members. The ceremony coincided with the comminity´s celebration of the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary held at St. Mariae Rosenkranz Parish in Mülheim, where a number of Cameroonian Catholic women were formally dedicated to the CWA. Under the leadership of Mrs. Constance Tambe, the dedication ceremony was described as an important milestone in the growth and spiritual development of the branch. The occasion was further enriched by the presence of visiting CWA branches from across Europe, including Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Antwerp; Our Lady, Mother of Hope, Ghent; the United Kingdom; and the City of Wuppertal. Their participation underscored the spirit of unity, fellowship and solidarity among Cameroonian Catholic women across Europe. Speaking at the conclusion of the spiritual celebration, CWA Queen of Peace Branch leader Mrs. Constance Tambe expressed her sincere appreciation to the branch's Spiritual Director, Rev. Dr. Father Anselm Ali, for his tireless guidance and continued support of the women's spiritual growth. She also acknowledged the presence of Rev. Dr. Fr. Paul Ndi from Frankfurt, and expressed appreciation to the Christian Women Fellowship (CWF) and Christian Men Fellowship (CMF) of the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon, Ruhrgebiet,NRW Germany whose members turned out in significant numbers to support and celebrate with the CWA. The Queen of Peace Branch expressed its profound gratitude to all guests, visiting branches, clergy, families, friends and well-wishers whose presence and support contributed to the success of the dedication ceremony. A special highlight of the celebration was the presentation of a gift and Mariam Clap in recognition of the presence of a senior mother Mami Nkamanyi, from CWA Kumbaa Cameroon, in accordance with the tradition of the general CWA. Following the spiritual celebration, guests were treated to a warm and welcoming reception in the parish garden, providing an opportunity for fellowship, conversation and the strengthening of community bonds. As the newly dedicated mothers begin this new chapter of service within the Catholic Women Association, it´s hoped that all members of the Queen of Peace Branch will emulate the virtues of “Mami Maria” — the Blessed Virgin Mary — by becoming women of faith, service, compassion and integrity, serving as positive role models within the Cameroonian community and beyond. The third edition of the CWA dedication therefore concluded not only as a celebration of new members, but also as a reaffirmation of faith, unity, service and community among Cameroonian Catholic women in Europe. MFUCADA Europe Convention Kicks.Off in Mülheim Ruhr
The European chapter of the Mfuni Cultural and Development Association (MFUCADA) has kicked off its annual convention and uniform launch in the beautiful German city of Mülheim, bringing together members and supporters in a celebration of culture, unity and community development. The convention, which began today, will culminate in a grand gala night in Duisburg, where Cameroonians and friends of Manyu culture are expected to come together in their numbers to celebrate the Mfuni community and its cultural heritage. Speaking on the program Dr. Eta Roland Ayamba, President of MFUCADA, announced that the gala night will be animated by Eyum Anneh, Manyu Division’s Germany-based cultural ambassador. His participation is expected to add colour and vibrancy to an evening dedicated to culture, entertainment, fellowship and community solidarity. Mfuni is a village in Eyumojock Subdivision of Manyu Division in Cameroon’s South-West Region, and the European chapter of MFUCADA continues to provide a platform for sons and daughters of the community in the diaspora to preserve their cultural identity while contributing to the development of their home community. Beyond the celebration, the convention and uniform launch represent an opportunity for Cameroonians in Germany and across Europe to demonstrate solidarity with grassroots community initiatives. Such gatherings help strengthen bonds among Cameroonians abroad, promote cultural heritage and create opportunities for collective development. Cameroonians, particularly sons and daughters of Manyu and friends of the Mfuni community, are therefore being called upon to come out en masse and support MFUCADA. Their presence at the gala will not only make the celebration more colourful but will also send a strong message of unity, pride in Cameroonian culture and commitment to community development. Beyond the celebration, the convention and uniform launch represent an opportunity for Cameroonians in Germany and across Europe to demonstrate solidarity with grassroots community initiatives.
